This spring has been difficult finding the fields of bluebonnets with the drought in Texas but after driving around for hours I came upon this spot in Poteet, Texas. Saw this sea of blue through the trees and realized it was on private property but after getting permission from the nicest owners I was able to get this beautiful capture of the Sandy Bluebonnets. The Sandy Bluebonnets are a lighter shade of blue and do not have the white tips on top of the flower. In this photograph I used 3 different textures from flypaper and the painterly effect in Topaz Adjust. I have this photograph listed twice one being the original shot and this is the textured.
